These stages enable scanning in various modes including micro-plates (for multitreatment experiments), multi-field e.g. to increase the number of observations in a single preparation or in montage mode for larger specimens e.g. embryos.
Piezo Z stages and objective movers are the choice for fast Z scanning, while Piezo XY stages can be provided for sub-nm precision with travel up to 1 mm."
